Welcome to BambooBase!

BambooBase aims to provide an intuitive user experience for bamboo genomics and systematics. Our curated collection includes 18 genomes, 476 transcriptomes, 16 epigenomes, and taxonomic resources that encompass all 135 currently accepted genera of Bambusoideae. It provides valuable information on subgenome-scale, sequence similarity- and collinearity-based homologous groups and incorporates versatile analytical tools for comparative, evolutionary, and functional analyses. In addition, BambooBase also serves as a comprehensive knowledge base for the Bamboo Phylogeny Group II (BPG II), providing integrated taxonomic information on the 135 bamboo genera, with scientific name, synonym(s), morphological description, geographic distribution and phylogenetic remarks.
